Stephen Gleave

With a legal practice spanning three decades, Stephen Gleave boasts a wealth of experience in the courtroom. He has successfully undertaken more than 50 trials, participated in over 300 labor and commercial arbitrations, and been involved in 50 labor and civil injunction cases. Stephen's experience as a commercial litigation attorney has consistently earned him recognition as a leader in the field, with a client portfolio of organizations who’ve grappled with commercial and employment disputes to their satisfaction. 

A distinguished member of both the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association, Stephen Gleave currently serves as a partner at DLA Piper LLP.  He’s spent the majority of his career with the Toronto-based firm, Hicks Morley.

In addition to his experience in employment law, Gleave possesses expertise in the forensic inspection of media devices, covering the intricate aspects of collecting and preserving digital content.

Outside the legal realm, Stephen Gleave shares a farm with his family in the historic town of Ancaster. He dedicates his time to raising Highland cattle and cultivating fruits from his orchard, satisfying a passion for agriculture. Additionally, he enjoys outdoor activities such as jogging and fly fishing.
